Oak St Oasis | Walk to Downtown!

The cottage was smaller then expected, cookware could use updating, a regular coffee pot instead of the k-cup kind. The cottage was decent clean not the spotless clean the reviews are saying in past posts. We went to cook breakfast and the cast iron pan had baked on old food not washed off but put away with other cooking pans, glasses had grim on them, the silverware also had been half washed found quiet a few with bits of old food on it and put away with other clean looking silverware. The hot pot mat had butter or grease on one side then tossed in the drawer with other cooking utensils and the drying mat had the same on it. They say they use a cleaning service but obviously they do not do a good job!Host kept nagging about trash day trash day trash day. But when our power went out couldnt reach them on their website or phone number only on the vrbo app!! Screen porch was ok but poorly maintained. The a/c worked ok not the best woke up hot in the middle of the nights. I know says walkable to a few places but lets just say driving there would be easier cause not as close as you think. Can probably have to say the only thing positive is they had smart tv and pet friendly. The washer and dryer was a nice perk too.

Perfect location

Great place to stay when visiting st Augustine. Cottage was cozy and very clean. Like home away from home. Very quiet neighborhood and close to everything st Augustine had to offer. Highly recommend when looking for a place to stay.

A very pleasant stay. Quiet neighborhood. We loved the area. The place was very clean and well taken care of. It has everything you need. We'd definitely stay again!

Nice and quiet location close to downtown. Nice and clean. Great place for my dogs.
